Brake Booster Lhd And Rhd The Same?

Recommended Posts

Depends on the master cylinder. Looking at images online it appears that LHD cars and RHD cars both have the brake lines attached on the same side not opposite.

But then the non-original one on my car has the option of having the lines attached and bleed valves either side.

So they do appear to be the same.

Diameter? All depends on what you've ended up buying.

I think the 2+2 booster is larger than the 2-seat booster isn't it? I seem to recall some chit-chat about that 'upgrade' for a 2-seat a long time ago.

The aftermarket master I have currently fitted is 'reversible' as I said above, the pipes and bleed valves can be fitted either side.
