Very nice looking car. I love the interior and the hubcaps etc.

I have a Silver 1973 240Z with red interior too. The one advertised has some differences over mine however.

Should it have side repeater indicators on the front fenders? as mine doesn't.  Or perhaps it has 260Z fenders fitted later?

Mine also has indicators fitted to the front bumper and as a consequence no front bumper overriders.

I also have Australian magazines with road tests of 73 240Z that also have the indicators on the front bumper and am pretty sure these are correct.

Perhaps the Z for sale on Car Point has had panel repair on the front end at some stage hence different fenders and front bumper?

The panel around the taillights on the Z for sale is also black where mine is silver/grey colour.

I am also curious as to where it says Vehicle ID in the Advertisment the number quoted is 5342206 is this the chassis number? if so it is a lot different to mine (Sep 73 compliance plate) and doesn't sound right.

I guess none of these things matter it is a lovely car.

I am just very curious as to how my car should be.

I saw this car last Wednesday. I ran out to northern beaches before 7pm with my cash in hand and to my great disappointment. The guy who is selling this car knows nothing about it. The car apparently belongs to his elderly father. The car has been repainted (more than 1ce), has rust, dents, seats are stitched (literally like a bad wound). I'm disappointed because from the photos, description and my brief chat on the phone indicated this is an original, 2nd owner with approx. 60K, Km's on the clock (he converted miles to Km's). Nothing could have been further from the truth. The ware, tear and abuse on this car is not indicative even of a 200K, Km, car.

Nostalgic view of old sales documents from the original dealer was the only pleasant experience, the car was a total disappointment to what has been advertised/described and not worth even $10K in my humble opinion.

those pics must be old. the interior pic still shows MPH speedo. (as far as i can tell) maybe the pics are 15 yrs old and not current representation of the car which sux cause its time wasting for the buyer.

DEUS havent you sold yours yet? didnt you get a depo for it?
