I will most likely regret it Gav after its gone, but For now the others have priority.

Thank you for your comments Jeff, however gumtree will not except an ad unless there is a price displayed and I believe the reserve is realistic given the market, so I'll guess we will see what someone is prepared to pay and they can make the call in relation to the rust, good luck trying to find another early car as this!

Hey Curtis,

Do you know what it's original colour was? Was it 905 red or Safari Gold? It almost looks like it was Safari gold under the red, but quite unusual for the interior and engine bay to get re-painted.

The butterscotch door trims and the floors (looks like hints of 920 Gold or rust lol) throw me.

Car #99 was 907 Green.

PS: Interesting that it has the Nissan OHC cover and not the Nissan 2400 OHC cover.. Although these things could have been changed. This has gotta be a June / July build date car. So right around the cut off point for that cover from my best estimates.

It's a L28 Gav.

It's a L28 Gav.

Yes I know but I figured some parts could have been retained. Usually P90 heads had the big NISSAN type covers. But who knows?

@Curtis do I spy a 71A box still in it? Bell housing seems to indicate it?

It will be interesting to follow this auction and see what the finish point is. It will need someone with deep pockets to take it on and do it justice. Yes it is hard to find low numbers cars like this and I would say impossible to find with little rust pre restoration. Curtis props to you for a very honest description in your eBay add.
