Administrators gav240z Posted July 18, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 18, 2016 Lol can you imagine the reaction if that ad was used today? Feminazi's would lose their minds.
Moderators PB260Z Posted July 18, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 18, 2016 It had an equally risque TV ad. It went along the lines of How you the see the car - shows the car outside the girls house How her parents see the car - shows a four poster double bed outside the girls house. Will see if I can find a copy of it online

He recently bought out a bunch of Beta tapes with some old Bathurst footage amongst other motorsport footage from the early 80s. From time to time he sends me vintage car commercials he pulls off these tapes. I encourage him to upload them to Youtube.

GTI-Z
I bought a three year old Series 2 TRX in my younger years. Not a bad handling car compared to what was available at the time. The Series 1's were Datsuns and the Series 2 & 3's were Nissans. The auxiliary gauges were vacuum fluorescent bar graphs. Every now and then these gauges would just go out, requiring a strong whack on the top of the dashboard to get them working again.

chris240
The 1982 nissan marketing team had poetry in their ads compared to the holden camira marketing team.
