Glen
Just cleaned her up a bit and took some photo's up arthurseat just before i put the cover on it. I know the front badge is not right but the previous guy had all the badges black so i just cleaned them up but will do them properly. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/glen73/Picture009.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/glen73/Picture011.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/glen73/Picture016.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/glen73/Picture017.jpg

Administrators gav240z Posted March 12, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 12, 2008 Superb shots and great looking car. Certainly a clean 260z, don't know why the previous guy was selling her after all the work it looks like he put in. Is that a baby seat in the back? For some reason I think this car would look fantastic with chrome trimmed headlight covers . Can you upload her to the gallery?
Glen
ok i looked for a gallery of some sort and i couldnt find it but i will look again, Cameron put a lot of work into the car. He got it 90% done, i just got it going and a lot of small jobs with the interior etc. Its a baby seat yes, i have 2 girls aged 3 and 5. The pictures were a last minute thing so i didnt think to take it out. Normally it isnt in there. As for future mods id like a lumpy cam and the electric dizzy put in. That will do me for a year or so. Then some head work and maybe tripples. Im not after all out power i just want something that will hold it's own. It already has extractors and a bigger pipe. Sounds nice up top.

Administrators gav240z Posted March 12, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 12, 2008 That's cool. To be honest the gallery section is less user friendly than I would like it to be. Changes for the future will be made, some day.

Hi mate, Took a quick look couldn't get url uploads to work either. I've never used it to upload to the gallery and I'm not sure if other members have. I tried to have a quick look on the Coppermine forums for help, but it appears that the last person with the same error didn't resolve it. http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=50794.msg246791 I know its a pain, but you might have to upload from your PC. HELLFIRE!
Beautiful work there! The only cosmetic thing I would add is the chrome trim around the front windscreen to tie it in with the chrome on the sides. You are a perfect example of why the 2+2 rocks,...It is a serious sports car that you can trust with your family.
chris240
top notch zed ! its for this reason I felt I should have bought a 2+2, I have a 3 year old girl who loves my 240, but I dont like putting her in the front seat..maybe one day I'll swap my 240 for a very good 2+2 like yours. Glen
Took the photos mid way up arthurseat, thats in dromana. you may have heard of the arthurseat chair lift before on the mornington peninusla. Im waiting to see some Z's in the flesh before i decide on the chrome around the window, i agree about the 2+2 rocking, last weekend i got to take my family to the historicals at phillip island in a vintage sports coupe. Its good to enjoy the car as a family. My girls love it and no one gets left out.
Glen
my album is up and running in the gallery section so now i will be able to add some pictures of the interior. My friend has a 74 cream 2+2 that is very very clean. He is just about to put simmons on his as well so i will grab some pictures first with the original wheels on it. We are hoping to catch up with some of you at the phillip island run.
maddos
Looks great. Ialso like the idea of taking the whole family. You'd want aircon atm though down there. Looks like your bumper rubs on your headlight bucket too. I stuck a bit of rubber in there after my respray.
lightmaster240z
You can buy rubers at avery resable price from the guys in sydney to stop the bumper rubbing
