Groundhog
Anybody got any ideas what this code means? It's got me a little puzzled as I thought the cars were made in Japan? Is this a local manufacturing mark? The car doesn't appear to have had any repairs here so I doubt if it is a crash repair mark. gilltech
A wild guess but I'd say it's been in a shop to have a new screen fitted. Could be a billing or ordering code used by the shop. What screen have you got, is there a marking on it? Original or Aus-made?
Retro Z
A wrecker code. Most likely old dash cracked and a better one was sourced from a wrecker.
Administrators gav240z Posted May 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted May 14, 2016 Not a factory code or marking.
gilltech
Well the screen & internal trim plate would have had to be removed to write it there & write it facing outwards, so that's the clue isn't it?
Groundhog
I think the dash replacement/wrecker code is probably the closest answer and as Gilltech says, you gotta have trim plate and windscreen out to writh this on. It certainly is not some wonderful one-off special or collectable car part.
