Hey everyone,

I was wondering how much it would cost to get a 260 2+2 re upholdstered thanks.

How long is a piece of string?

It all depends on what you mean by reupholster.

Do you want to do the whole interior?

Do you need to recover your seats only?

Do you care if its OEM gear or aftermarket?

There are many items that could be included depending on the condition of the car. This will have a huge impact on cost. Also going with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) will cost you more also, but generally the quality is higher.

Also having a more meaningful subject heading than "price" will help others browsing the forum to respond.

An example of a better subject would be:

Reupholstering your 260z 2+2 cost?

If you haven't done so I'd recommend having a quick read of the forum rules and guidelines.

Cheers,

Gavin.

i was at supertrim for work and asked them how much a retrim generally was for door panels, seats and carpet along with other bits that generally age and crack on most cars etc.  they said their average price is around 2g, but if you want to go to leather expect around 7g.  They were doing a 944 while i was there and it looked brand new from the factory, nearly made the velourer look good lol

yeah depends what you want done like Gavin outlined.

do you supply your material or you want them to use theirs etc..

i got my 260z 2+2 redone. front FTO seats redone and rear seat to match, i supplied the material.cost $300. job was as good or better than OEM.

Carpet i picked up as a bargain but expect to pay close to $200 for a thick plush type. i got mine for $120 but the guy stuffed up. i aint complaining. was ment to be $160.

door trims could be a killer but than again 260z door trims are relatively simple.

also Gav be a good idea if members could write their location in one of the signatures. It saves lot of hassle actualy clicking on the user to find where are they from.most of the times they dont even write that. at least state would be good enough.
