Josiah 260Z 2+2

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

My name is Josiah, from Sydney and recently picked up my new baby. I had been on the lookout for a suitable project car for the past 6 months or so, and picked up this 260z 2+2 along with her donor a few weeks ago.

2 x 12 hour return trips to Wagga and they're safely sitting in my garage :)

It runs, and rust *seems* minimal at the moment. I'll see the true damage once it's fully stripped back and I start on the rust repair. The only major rust I can see is on the rear quarter panel, solid hole with some rust under the paint around it.

I'm Planning on doing as much as possible myself as a learning experience.

Anyway, here are a couple of photos of my possibly overambitious project!

HI Mate

Welcome, that looks like a pretty decent starting point, and a spares car to boot.

You just can't beat the feeling of doing it yourself, when it is finished you will have a great sense of achievement.

Really looking forward to following your progress on the build.

Cheers

PB

Thanks for the positive feedback! I will be taking plenty of photos each step of the way.

Welcome, looks like quite a good base car. Are you keeping the sunroof?

Cheers

Unsure about this one, will have a think about it and see how it looks once I fix up the rust body work.

With my current plans I probably won't be getting it painted nicely for quite some time, so not super urgent.
