None of the ZX gauges work in an S30Z.

However the clock can be removed and modified to fit in a 260z clock housing. This is how Ron restores early car clocks (in most cases) he converts to Quartz using these as donors, but they are getting harder and harder to find now.

Ah right. Good to know. Cheers Gav!

240z nissan datsun bonnet 260z

$2000, Salisbury, Sth Aust

https://www.gumtree....260z/1161475648

For a 45+ yo panel this must be as good as they get, i know it was hard finding a spare 20years ago so it must be impossible to find a good original one now. This ones been in my shipping container away from moisture for 15+years and was someone elses spare in storage well b4 i got it. Ur welcome to inspect but time wasters are not wanted. There are no signs of rust or repair.

I have stacks of zed parts. If ur interested u can:

1. Tell me what u need
2. Tell me what ull pay

Failure to do both those things and u will not get a response. I have almost 4 260z 2plus2 parts car.

A NOS one went for $1100 starting price on eBay recently. So yes 2K for a used one is a bit steep.

When and where did you see that on eBay? Was it in Australia or US?

I'd thought I'd seen it on eBay but maybe it was Facebook, &/or Gumtree ... sorry, so much media... anyway, it was the Datsun Parts Shop - was that the one you bought or another?

FWIW I'm looking out for a later 260 bonnet as I'd like to have a vented one.

That bonnet was a reproduction unit, not an NOS 1. So not sure how fitment is yet. I considered buying 1 but waiting on another I sourced in Japan to arrive, which I believe was a genuine NOS bonnet. Still waiting for freight company to contact me.

Oh righto, so not you. That was back in late July. So it was a repro, I wonder if Chris will find some more or if it was a one-off.

Given it was just up the road in Caboolture - I'm in Brisbane - I was tempted but decided I'd rather run a vented bonnet of some sort.

It says those Watanabe' are sold. Odd, given the amount and variation claimed in the ad. Also, I don't think you can get "gun metal grey". RS Watanabe just call that colour "black".

Edit: He just changed the ad and reposted. Anyone know if this is legit? I'd definitely get a pair if I knew everything was above board.

That looks like a very nice, tuned length manifold  ???

Not sure if serious? It looks like an OEM manifold lobbed off on 1 end to fit the "square" plenum. :P

I do wonder how well it worked.

Definitely not serious. I do appreciate people doing DIY, but that is another level  :-\

Shouldn't the drive gear be pointing out the other end towards the front of the engine?

This is cool, but I can't help but feel it's not for a 240z/260z and maybe it's for a Bolwell Nagari?
