Hi Guys,

I just discovered why my wiper fluid isn't squirting onto the screen, it appears there is a kink in the clear plastic tubing that goes from the motor to the nozzles. For some reason there is a look from 1 side to the rear of the motor and in that loop the plastic is probably a bit short and kinks like a garden hose.

Does anyone know where I can order more of this stuff? Once the kind is straightened out the jets work perfect.

If I get a chance I'll call Ashley at Moorabbin Auto Spares.

Thanks,

Thanks guys, i didn't get down to Bunnings in the end. So I stole some excess tubing from some spares I had. This stuff goes hard over time, but doesn't seem to get brittle, just goes from clear to yellow. So for now it works fine but will have to get a roll of it and redo the lot on my S30z's at some point.

Hi Gav

I replaced mine with a roll silicon tubing that I picked up on Ebay pretty cheap

never goes hard and less kink issues

Cheers

Hi Phil,

Great idea, mine needs replacing and Silicone makes so much sense.
I will be hitting Ebay yet again.

I replaced some of mine with some vinyl tubing and the stuff that I needed to re-shape I just heated up with a lighter and it goes soft, allowing you to move it wherever you please, plus when it cools it stays put!
