The entry fee is bugger all in the overall cost and if it isn't ready, most organisers understand these things happen and you may get a credit to the next event if you pull the pin early enough. 260DET Posted February 4, 2016 Author Share Posted February 4, 2016 Seeing that the lockup is cactus the transmission could well overheat if the converter is not suitable. It does need a test and tune too, particularly to see if it shifts OK at wide open throttle which has a programmed ignition cut and to see if the downshifts are smooth enough. 99% sure another converter will be required so a drive will give me some idea of what is required there too. 260DET Posted February 26, 2016 Author Share Posted February 26, 2016 I think that there would be more Zeds doing door to door racing if there was a proper series for them to do so competitively, something like what the SCCA run as shown in the video I linked recently. Anyway, I have yet to experience more exciting motorsports as a spectator than when a bunch of Zeds get into it at the MP sprints, fast and furious is a pretty apt description.
