CBR Jeff
I'm in Bathurst working this week and when I'm here I always try to finish the day by driving a lap of the track. As usual today there was drivers going anti clockwise. You can do this no problems but why would you? Any thoughts on this. Jeff
Administrators gav240z Posted November 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 16, 2015 Too many racing sims? LOL I dunno. There is no lane marks but I don't see why not? I mean it is a public road after all is it not?
dat2kman
Its a two way road, with a 60 kph limit. Tourists turn up, at Murrays corner, and seem to go straight ahead, rather than turn right, at Murrays. By time they realise, if they do,,,,, its too late, so they keep going. Moderators PB260Z Posted November 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted November 16, 2015 Funny you should post this. I was working in Bathurst last Thursday and headed up to McPhillamy for lunch, on the way back down (at less 60) came across old bus converted to a motorhome heading uphill out of Forest Elbow on the wrong side of the road travelling at not much more than walking pace. Feel sorry for anyone who encountered him in the dipper. But yes a two street, and very well signposted as such
potter260
Some sprints also run in reverse, they could be doing a test run?
