dat2kman
You mean riginal steelies? The ones everyone chucked out all those years ago, when they fitted alloys! What would you be prepared to pay for a set of five?
aircobra
that's them. have no idea how much they go for. how much are you asking?
Administrators gav240z Posted September 27, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 27, 2015 I know how much they are worth... http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f159541868 Sold for 135,000 yen recently. These were date stamped 1972, I'm looking for a 1970 date stamped set. Hence wasn't interested in those >

scott
i paid 200 delivered for a pair once then another time 300 for a set of 5 so it can vary alot. These go for big money in Japan these days more so then Australia as they shared these rims with C10 and C110 GTR's so demand is high. I got a few sets for my skyline gav240z
Administrators gav240z Posted September 27, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 27, 2015 Agreed, not everything that sells for big money in Japan is reflected in other markets. I keep track of prices of various auctions and I've seen wheels in worse shape sell for quite a bit less. Those above were refurbished and looked good. Keep in mind they are only worth money to those doing restorations and for someone like me I'd pay a Premium for 1970 date stamped wheels, but 71/72/73 are worthless to me. Z
I got four with my car and recently picked up a fifth for the actual spare, it was $30 on Ebay. Happy to have a set whatever year they are, will go out and have a look! Edited September 27, 2015 by Z

Moderators PB260Z Posted September 28, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2015 Have a look at Jesse Streeter. I know a few who have used hiom to get parts and have heard no complaints http://jessestreeter.com/ Cheers PB
dat2kman
Time for me to take 'em back Jason Memry like an elephant! You chucked them at me some 8-10 years ago, worth nothing then! I think I sent them, via yourself, via Karen Hamer, to Melbourne, either those, r they were the earlier Datsun Sports 2000 steel rims, that have the three little lugs on them that secure the smaller hubcap fitted to the 2000 rims?
