To place your attached image within your post between the text and move it around, simply click on the "add to post" link next to the "delete" link when composing your reply.

$_57.JPG

This way the image thumbnail will appear wherever you put it in the post and you can move the order of images around anyway you like.

Hey Gav
The recent posts tab on the old software showed the full text of the 100 most recent posts over 10 pages, there was no need to click on / enter each thread, unless you choose to. I found this was handy as you could get the gist of the thread without having to open that thread.
It seems the new content tab shows all the latest threads, you then have to click each thread to open it to see if it is of interest, then click on the latest unread button to get up to date on that thread. Seems like more clicking

I guess simply put, there was less clicking required to get up to date with the latest topics/posts

I see your test post. Are you still having problems posting elsewhere?

I checked your membership grouping and it's the same as everyone else. So it's not a permission issue.

Hi Gav, I seem to be getting an error when trying to upload photos to a new gallery (error 500)

I am trying to upload a screenshot now but it's also giving me the Error500

Still happening? I will check the server space to make sure nothing is going on there. But there should be no upload limits at this stage.

Does this work? It's a copy and paste of the notifications

Hi Gareth,

Are you still getting this kind of spam? I went through a bunch of spammer type members and noticed they often use similar email addresses and services so I've put some ban filters in place to try and catch 90% of them.

This should reduce the number of attempts we get, but it's almost impossible to completely block them. I still have manual validation for the first post a user makes and this has meant I've caught a lot of garbage before it's visible to anyone on the forum.

Just put the ban filters in this afternoon. The first user was using gmail so not much I can do about those because lots of legit users are using gmail, Yahoo and hotmail and outlook so can't block those but did block a lot of Russian, Polish, Indian email based providers. Legit users can also sign up with their Facebook accounts now. So that may help make sure we get more legit registrations.

Not sure if its been covered yet or not, but on the mobile version, how does one get to the last page of a thread? Every button I click just takes me to the first page, or last page I visited. Don't really want to cycle through 170 or however many pages there are on threads like classifieds :D

Yeah the pagination feature on the mobile theme could be better in my opinion. I looked at modifying it but I think this is improved in a later version of the software which I may upgrade to once it's out of beta.

For now you can click on the little round icon next (left hand side) to the title of the thread in the board overview page which should take you to the latest post. It's usually a star or round circle.

I just use the "full version" on my mobile.

Can't do emoji's but everything else works fine.

Does it happen when:

1. You upload 1 image or multiple images?

2. What is the image type .jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif?

3. Does it happen only in 1 thread or all threads?

4. Any chance you could take a screenshot of the problem and send it to my email? gavindoolan@gmail.com ?

Thanks,

It appears to not matter how many pictures I am uploading and it seems to be happening everywhere. The pictures that I am trying to upload are .jpg

It does however seem to be only with larger file sizes (More then 1mb)

I sent you an email with a screenshot attached.

I see you attached an image, so it's only large images?

Do you want to email the image you're trying to upload so I can test it?

Image upload test (3.5mb jpg).

*Edit I get same error, I suspect it might be a server limitation will need to look into it. I would recommend trying to compress the image a little first. An image like that should be able to be compressed quite a bit (~1mb) and still have relatively similar quality.
