AussieZed
Hi folks, currently looking at a car that needs the rear wheel bearings done.... Any guesses or experience if the likely cost?? Any info greatly appreciated. Ross
Riceburner
I've seen a 'premium' rear kit, for one side only on eBay for about $110. Not certain if it has both bearings as 'C4' type. A lot of places will sell a generic kit that only has one C4 bearing in it. EDIT: here's the link http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/361163236692?_mwBanner=1 Doesn't look like both are the C4 type, I'm sure there's many who have used them without issue. 44014
Call a bearing shop and and ask for wheel bearings that fit a 240z. Make sure they quote you Japanese made bearings Should be about $70 or $80 each kit ( one wheel ) comes with 2 bearings and a seal. And if you have the hubs out I would expect to pay about $200-250 in labour for a small shop to do them.
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 16, 2015 Is it a Zed or another make?
AussieZed
Sorry .... 260z 2 seater ... would need to get it done by a mechanic to drive back to Canberra from SE Melbourne.... so fitted cost (and even recommendations for mechanics) would be great ....
