incorrect website time

as the title suggests, the time on this website is incorrect...about 2 1/2 hours late

Yeah, I had the same issue. You can change the time offset in your profile

Go to

My profile > Look and layout.

Put a value of 2.5 in the offset field

This may not be the correct way to fix it, but it works for me  :)

It's not possible to provide a set timezone that works for everyone. Since East and West coast are obviously a couple of hours apart ;)

The incorrect time has been driving me nuts for as long as I've been on this site, I even tried looking for a way to adjust it, but didn't find this. I was looking for a time zone selection, not an offset. For me not only could the time be wrong, but the date could be as well, since I'm in Canada...

Now to see how accurate it is...
