Thanks for posting Gav. They were a memorable car.
The valuers on this series never seem to give much away with the unusual or less desirable cars.
I would have thought one in good nick like the orange one shown would be worth a bit to the right buyer.

I get the impression the valuer doesn't know much about Japanese cars in general. Seems to struggle a bit whenever values get mentioned. I think also so few of these cars go through an auction house at the moment it makes it hard to gauge. I would think restoration costs shouldn't be too high, provided you can find the parts and start with a relatively complete example.

I do think they would fetch the right amount of money for the right buyer, but it's hard to tell how many buyers are out there looking for 1?

A friends Grandma had a Honda Life, like the 1 shown here. I always thought it was a cool little car. Shame they got rid of it.

Like the 240K's I think these might come back as a desirable little car, but supply has definitely got to be limited at this stage.

Those 1970's Celicas are a good looking car, real shame that most of the ones in Aus missed out on the 18RG twin cam engine.

I know I know "don't mention the war!" but I have a soft spot for this.

Lovely 1965 Porsche (RHD) and interestingly the original guards were re-fitted after a flare job done previously to it. Something just right about the original hubcaps and wheels too!

Never really got the Series 4 RX-7.
The Series 2 was my first exposure to fast Japanese cars that also handled.
They just seemed to loose the edge with the S4 - they got it back with the S5.

Perfect timing, stuck at home due to Sydney's crap weather and a case of man-flu.
