I'm fitting inertia reels to my '74 260z 2+2 (which previously only had static belts, and does not have the threaded mounting hole in the roof frame to bolt the drop link to).

Could someone with a later 260z 2+2 please measure the position of the threaded hole?  (ie. how far back from the A pillar?).

And if anyone is able to share a picture of the mounting point too it'd be even better :)

If you get your measuring tape and rest the tab on the visor mount it's 670mm from there.

You sir, are a legend!  Thankyou!  Exactly what I was after.

Interested though - it looks like your beast has a B-pillar from the pic?

It has like a bolt in one that the window pivots on. They all have them (i think)

Hey Scoota I don't suppose you've got a pic of the entire drop link set up?

I'ver bought some second hand 260z belts and the drop link mounts to 2 points.... wondering if that's how they are were?

And yep I'm only just getting onto sorting out the seatbelt issue again (2 years since the last post!).

Hi Mate

I have a '77 2+2 at home, can take a couple of photos when I get back to Sydney on Monday.

Cheers

PB
