Is the RB available in a 15X9 in a negative offset such as -10 like the Shakotan is? Or do I need to go up to the 17" RBX?

Thanks for that. Not a big issue, they don't seem to be any more difficult to fit and they don't look too dissimilar.
Did I read correct somewhere that there's an issue with them clearing the bearing cap on the front hubs?

that's only the clip in center caps that dont fit over the bearing covers. 17" tyres are cheaper and you can run bigger brakes too. If you want 15" Watanabe R-Type are the go they go well over 10" in that size.

Who can give me info on what they know or have seen of rims of an "older"style, ie Watas, Longchamps,  etc that are around a 15 x 10", yes 10" wide, with around a 0 offsett?

Reason, my Historic Datsun racecar, has the pissibility of being CAMS permitted to upgrade to a 15x10 and to runn full slicks.

I have thrown on some 15x10 with a Neg 26 offsett, the outer protrudes past flares unacceptably, and thete is not enough "meat" on the back side/hubface of the rim to pull it back the 25 to 30 mm it needs.

Who has seen what???


Other option is to go for three piece customs,,, pricey option for just a few meetings a year

Those 15 x10 Supalites you got from me, stuck out too far, they do a Chalkenger, same stick out, cant machine it back enuf.
If i can get a 0 or a slight plus say 10 or 15, i can play with slip ons, or machine backside a bit.

Currently the car is in up to 1969 CAMS spec, but i can now apply for up to 1981 spec, it ran the 10's in mid 1970's!
With the usual lw profile Dunlop/Avon slick

If the Longchamps were around 600 the set, i'd grab them and get the 7" pair widened.

Hi, im almost ready for the cosmetic side of my z. I like the RB-R or RBS, but dont want to go falired route (unless its a seamless/neat flare). Whats the widest i can go without cutting the fenders atm? I have AZC Coilovers allround and I want to stick with 17's so was thinking the 17x7.5 with an offset or 17x8.5 with minor offset.

Is there any chance the 8.5 wides will fit all round, or at least on the rear? happy to go F7.5 / R8.5 x 17
