L6 Crankshaft ID

(1/1)

Lurch:
FWIW, there is a raised number on a counterweight on the L6.

E3141 = L24 Crankshaft (73.7mm Stroke)
E3040 = L26/L28 Crankshaft (79mm Stroke)

HTH.

The crank from a 260c sedan is better for us, Nissan never bothered much with drilling  lots of nasty holes in them
'cos the older folk that was the 260 c market didn' rev their engines past 5000

Less drilled holes = less stress risers= less breakage = easy to knife edge and lighten.
It does have a casting number, but I can't tell you.

( it is inside something!!)

Lurch:
Thats just teasing, Jason!
Pull the sump off the bugger & inform us of the P/N!
