Building a rotisserie

(1/3) > >>

Bigfella:
I'm think I will start building a rotisserie in the next few weeks.
From the reading I have done on the site I have a couple of options.

Build one form a couple of engine stands or Build one form scratch.

I like the idea of using a couple of stands, But I am curious I read some where here that you can't buy steel the same dimensions as the cheap engine stands. Has this been a problem for any one? If so what is the solution?

Also I was wondering what the minimum hight off the ground, I can get away with. I have a very low roof.
Does anyone have some plans or dimensions I can steel.
Thanks
Matt

Bigfella:
Thanks Jane

I have seen that one Mick has made, Nice and heavy duty. I would be interested in what people have done with engine stands.

Cheers Matt
