Who are you kidding, You can still buy a good 240z for 10k and under..

Hi Kaneos,

Depending on what you are after you should be able to find something in Perth. If you want something a bit special there are always some going down bunbury/albany way.

Give Martin Falconer, Tuneright, a call as he usually hears about cars coming up for sale before they do, so may be able to point you in the right direction.

What do you want to do with the car and what is your budget? It's getting hard to find a clean body car without mods or fully restored, ie, big cash (25-30k) so you may have to settle for something with still some rust to get one on the road cheap.

As mentioned above, 10k will get you driving bit it wont be a perfect car by any stretch.

Would you swap a running 240Z with good straight body for a Silvia? Would want to be a pretty good Silvia!
240Z fo under $10k yes............ running with good straight body, jury is out on that one.

Absolutely agree with Simon, almost every 240z i've seen under 10K has been very ordinary! and the difficulty is with some master bog craftsman around even the 10k ones that look all right, look pretty ordinary once you get them undressed...I should know, I looked into this heavily for a friend in Qld and even after lots of photo's, promises, and supposed history ended up with an old girl who's previous cosmetic surgeon should have really been a proctologist and practised on himself!

Hi All, I am new to the 240 - 260 world so a bit of criticism is understandable. yeah not to fussed about a bit of rust am looking for a little project, would much rather a running car, body work not to much of an issue, I have a $10k budget. in regards to the Silvia I hadn't expected to do a straight swap though I would like get around $4k within the swap for the Silvia and payout the rest in cash, or pay cash outright. any help or information is appreciated.
