Ok i know a while ago a car came up on ebay and we discussed a project Auszcar Build. Now i know that some members would like to keep the parts they have private but remember this is just Theory ie; could it be done.

I have
2 spare cylinder heads
Rear Taillights (2 seater)
One Seat
Complete Dash
Door hardware

Would it be possible for us Victorians to piece together a complete Zed out of our spare parts?

I have a car with an RB26 half way in.
Still needs engine rebuilt, big turbo, intercooler, radiator, driveline, lsd, big! brakes (looking at gtr ones), hell while where at it, we might as well do a paint job and retrim of the seats. You can all finish it off for me, I wont object. HA!

I already have the Motec and loom for fuel injection, so don't think I will want SUs on an RB26.
Thanks anyway. ;D

maxima rear disc brake conversion (repair a seal)
black fender mirrors (repair the rod)
2 x 240z master cylinders (1 pretty much brand new)
1 x slightly dented front bar

a few cracked interior panels. Not a complete set. Just bits and pieces.

All these parts sound great. But correct me if I am wrong, I think you will need a shell to put them all in/on. My tip is that if you get a shell alot of this stuff might come with it. So really I would be starting there rather than some spare windscreen wiper blades or what ever.  ;)

I have enough spare materials lying around to build another custom inlet manifold and some intercooler piping.

I think the first thing you guys need to establish is what the goal of the project is?

- Build a drag race Z?
- Build a race car?
- Have fun building a community Z with whatever bits you can find?

I think it would be good to see an L-series drag car, on a budget. See what you can get from the old L-banger.

I like the 3rd option but maybe we could have a vote!!! I mean it's all theory but Dale has a parts car that could be revived with the skill we have available on this forum. Keep thm ideas coming guys, i'd love to see this go from Theory to Practical.
