The pipes are cool, reminds me of a 250 gto. The dash looks great, must be so much easier easy doing it out of the car. You probably have already done it but when I rolled my guards I sprayed a rust preventative/sealer around inner lips to stop the rot before any moisture and dirt get trapped.

I must say White Zeds are by far the best looking  ;D

Love the dash.  You might have said earlier, but where did you get the gauges and what sort are they?
Zeds are more fun than women!!   You know I'm right, but you're too scared to admit it!!

Thanks.

I got the autometer gauges from the US of A, or ebay motors, I have the blokes details if you want, and got them shipped over here in a week for about half of what they go for in Australia.

I installed the oil pressure sender and water temp senders today. The water temp sensor that came with the gauge, replaced a bung in the drivers side cylinder head, but required an NPT to metric fitting from Pirtek. The oil sender attached to a housing above where the oil filter is located. There was an existing port that just required drilling and tapping for the fittings required to meet the sensor that came with the gauge. The original hole was facing upwards off the block, and just too big to run a 1/8' tap into to suit the sender so I went out to 1/4' and stepped it down with an elbow which seemed to fit better anyway if I pointed it downwards.
I set the dash up on a wheelie bin outside the car first and got everything running correctly, so I didn't put the dash in only to find something was wrong. I've taken a vid of it all working but I am unable to upload it atm as somebody has downloaded too many movies and my net is slooooow.

I thought I'd better wrap the LH header as it was close to a lot of wiring (which still needs tidying).

The dash is now in the car and running, just need to tidy up all the wiring there as well.

Not an in car vid but the one when testing the dash outside.

And FYI, I paid less than $700 for all these gauges as well as a fuel tank level gauge, delivered from the US. These would have cost me near $2000 to buy them all here in Aus.

Looking real neat Tim, thats a huge saving on the gauges  :o There's some info on fitting the Autometer gauges to factory Z housings on HybridZ, if you are feeling very brave that is.... Has the dash been restored, looks better than new.

Thanks mate. The dash got a light sand and a few coats of satin black vinyl paint. I did see that write up but I prefer this look and it's also much easier ;D

Wow, that came up so well. The silver breaks up the interior a bit too  :)

What model tacho did you use? looks good! Reason is the Wolf ECU can only run a -ve triggered tacho and not the zeds +ve tacho.
HS30-00121 'early girl' .........Me love zeds long time..
RS30-15224 'older girl" in progress!

Hey mate. It's just a normal one #4489. I'm pretty sure they can receive any signal and convert to revs. I currently have mine set as a four cylinder to suit the pulses the ls1 PCM puts out.

This will be a beast when finished.

I know you are in North QLD, but where did you source the SS pipe from?
