Gearbox from Sydney to Bathurst
« on: March 15, 2010, 01:43:25 PM »
Hey guys,

I've got a favour to ask of one of the Sydney boys. I'm purchasing a gearbox from Timwell in Randwick and galderli has offered to drive it up to Brisbane if I am able to get it to Bathurst when he is there racing his Z over Easter

Is anyone heading to Bathurst and would be keen to throw this gearbox in their boot? I'd be willing to pay for the additional petrol costs that carrying the box incurs to the value of $30

Cheers!

Steve

Steve,
If you get it shipped with e-go couriers it will only cost you about $30-40 anyway.

Stevo, Can I just confirm that the box will be empty??? I can't have oil sloshing around in the back of the car.

     Thanks Greg

Good gearbox transporting tip:

Ged a 'homebrand' or 'savings' brand of cling wrap, and mummify it.
Add a few layers of newspaper if needed.

It will be 100% sealed, can be stored for ages, no leakages, no water gets in, no black fuzzy wuzzzy spiders. Also your hands can stay clean whilst picking it up & moving it etc, wont stain carpet in the car etc....
