Ah my Z is a 74 260 and it was that orange colour when I bought it but it came from SA.

And another nice looking car:

Funny you should post that Sulio, that was car of the month on zcar.com it truely is beautiful. It just shows that a Zcar doesn't need a front airdamn to be beautiful. Infact in many ways I dislike the airdamn's because they tend to stop the flowing lines of the zcar. I love the NOS bottle in the boot. I've been meaning to email the owner actually :)

Yer very nice colour the silver he's gone for. In an ideal world I've always thought it would be nice to have a heavily modified Z and then a second car relativley clean and stock looking 240 like this silver car. Ah the best of both worlds! Just gotta keep playing lotto I guess.

looking at the colours i could roll on, atm i like the idea of this colour, basically the one seen on the miura concept, and the silver along the bottom of the sides seems to lift the car also. i'm hoping to keep my orginal paint job for longer, but when its time for more major body work i'm going to give rolling it all a shot, and if i dont like it go for a dark blue or grey.

the stock front end on that zed looks alright, kind of like a bullet, and pretty similar to what an NA mx5 looks like side on. the front spoiler bits on the miura concept would look nice on it while keeping it old school, and yes i like the miura concept.

Interesting to see that colour. Thats a really nice angle to exentuate the beaut lines on the S30. Really goes to show all you need on these cars is some shiny paint and period looking wheels with slightly lowered suspension to look like a million bucks. When I see pics like this I really do feel like getting a second Z!!!!!!!!! Great photo Evan.

yeah if only it was my car hehe, http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=3779&si=yellow is the orginal image, i reakon the silver along the bottom makes it look pretty special, and i'm yet to see a car with a body coloured rear light panel that looked good

Wow I just checked out the original. Good photoshopping Evan. What a difference!! I know what you mean by the rear panel. The grey or black looks best. All the cars I've seen with body colour rear panel have looked a bit off except for a silver Z in the UK that looked ok, pic below the yellow car.

The original below!

having a chrome rear panel on either of those two colours would also look pretty sweet

Evan, you mentioned the superlites at some point earlier, I reckon you just get the superlites in the new 16" size they are selling and just lower the car. It would look really nice. Like the one in the pic you photoshopped. The superlites are only about $200 per wheel and look so period right and not Tawain special e-bay boy racer, you can get 90% tread tyres if your strapped for cash and get lowered King springs installed. It would look great and you could do it for about $1400 with springs installed. Thats what I did to my car pretty early on even bfore paint and I was pretty reved up to keep going with it because I did'nt have to keep visualising how it would "eventually" look and that inspiration is sometimes needed to finish these cars off.
Anyhows hope you got the cash for the honda!?

yeah i've been thinking of buying some of the new style superlites, i saw them on this guys blue sprinter in 15" when i was getting second hand tyres for my RWC and they looked pretty nice, i've asked for the price at a few places and they've been saying around $1100 :( if i could get them for $800 i'd go order a set today!), but if it isn't over 200% more more to get some ROH wheels/wats i'd prefer to just use tax money also (for some reason woolworths haven't given me my group certificate yet, its annoying me, i want my money!), just the only issue would be i'd need a set of wheels that would also pass a rwc (for any issues in the future), but then also some that clear any brake upgrade i do end up doing so a set of superlites would be good!

what size wat's are you going to get nate? same sizes as sr240z? the largest we can go is 16X9 yeah (2" larger in diameter and width)? i guess it would be hard for them to measure the width of them though yeah? except for the sticker which says what they are...

i just need to get my car down to toperformance to install the springs and shocks i've got, or get a spring compressor and try doing it myself, but i dont have much time left these holidays...

Hi Nate, I did e-mail Warren at allzparts in Syd but it's been over a week and no response. Looking at their website I'm guessing he might not check his email everyday so not much else I can do from this point but wait as I don't want to be too pushy.

Evan, I'll make a phone call at some time tommorrow. From memory I think the actual amount I was quoted was $235 per wheel so thats $940 total but still a good deal for new wheels in the correct offset!

Guys from my experience, the only satisfactory contact with All Z Parts NSW is to ring Warren, know what you want, order it, give him your visa number, part arrives next day.
If you rely on the electronic means of communication, another year will go by. Warren is a man of action do it now! or don't do it at all. Lynton

Hi Lynton,

Yes well this is how I bought my spoiler. Actually he called me as I'd posted a wanted add on ozdat. Anyhow we had a lengthy discussion re the other parts he had and advised he would e-mail all these details upon which time I was hoping to ask about a possability for member discounts but as you said if you really want the bits asap the phone is quick as he sent my parts overnight, good service.

Anyhow if I do get any info I'll be sure to post in the meantime Nate you might just want to call him, ALLZPARTS, Warren, 02 9476 0966.
