Aftermarket parts and Parts Number
« on: March 25, 2009, 07:30:40 AM »
Hi guys, recently I've been searching for after market parts and thought I'd start a thread that would help others. This is due to the fact that some parts are getting scarce and thus manufacturers are starting to remove the part numbers from their catalogue.

*Disclaimer: This list is for compilation purposes. Please confirm model with manufacturer and also confirm with an expert if it fits your application. I take no sole responsibility for misinformed purchases.

Feel free to post and I'll add to this list. I'll compile it. If possible can we get this thread stickied?

Hi guys,

if anyone has details of parts please post here or pm me. I'd like to get this thread growing.

On a side note. Outer tie rod ends, seems to be no longer available. I've tried several places. Most of these manufacturers have discontinued production within the last 12 months. I'll check Autopro tomorrow, over the phone they said they could get them for $33/each.

Or you could help out a independent store like mine :)

I have them on the shelf in stock. (no problem with supply)

I usually do them for around $32.50 ea

Great idea though to put this up :) If you need help with part numbers for anthing else let me know as I have a lot of the old books.

Part number and price as follows:

RUJ-2028 Half shaft universal joint
$28.50ea

RUJ-1781 Front or rear tail shaft universal joint
$26.90ea

Unfortunatly I cannot get a complete bush kit, being trying to get a source o/s but not having much luck (alot of the suppliers dont even answer emails?)

No problems Mikey, it seams that stuff people ask for I dont have and stuff they dont I do have lol.

Ash
