Who can help me fix my headlight before Wednesday??

hey guys

 

ive got a dim headlight on the passenger side

 

would like some help fixing it

 

will give a reward to the person helping (box of beer)

Earthing is done via the high-beam switch. The Z uses individual left/right fuses for the headlights, and when one fails, the lights on that side go dim (I'd draw a circuit diagram, but it's just too damn hard...).

 

Double check the fuses, swap them over & be 100% sure that they're ok.

ok well ive check the fuse box on the right hand side in the cabin

 

all are fine

 

are there anymore fuses in the engine bay??

Same thing happened to my car, passenger side Head light worked but was very dim. Turned out to be one fuse in the fuse box inside the car had fallen out of the fuse holder. I don't think there are any other fuses under the bonnet, at least not on my 240Z.

 

Recheck your fuses,  remember there is a Left hand headlight fuse and a Right hand headlight fuse.

Actually, while I think of it, what year/model car are we talking about here?

hey guys

 

problem solved wasnt the fuse is was the fuse box wire had burnt behind it

 

$50 later all fixed

 

better than getting some auto electrician to charge me $80 and hour and tell me he needs my car all day

 

the bloke came to my house and i watched him fiddle with it all 1 hour later problem solved

 

if any1 want a good auto electrician who will come to your house pm me
