Same here, I wonder what his reserve is. I know its listed on Aussie Musclecar for close to $30,000 but I wonder if that's what he's hoping to get?

One for the Tassie's
1974 Datsun 240Z Coupe. Manual 6 cyl (Reg: A89ZV)
This Datsun has been fitted with an RB20det, an engine and gear box out of an R32 Skyline. It is a standard engine which has done approx 85,000kms.                                                                                                                                   

It has a 2 1/2" stainless steel intercooled system and a 3" stainless steel exhaust system with a high flow fuel pump.                                                                                                                                                                       

Custom built front spoiler, custom door skins & console. The seats are from a nissan 200sx. The suspension has been fitted with king springs and shocks.

but it doesnt mean im done with Zeds, i have another clean Z roller which i can drop the RB into and build a bit of a monster if i choose to.

My car sold today, it will be heading to Queensland to its new owner. A sad day for me but i had no options. I will be advertising a complete RB turbo setup during the week.

I was going to, but my mate that just finished his build and is keen to hang onto it now which is fair enough, the 2+2 has dint free rails and no rust any where in the body. So i think he wants to hang onto that just incase he cops a whack in his new pride and joy 260 2 seater.

I rang Mal about his 2 seater but its first in best dressed there so i might ring back friday night to see what the go is....probably sold lol

I had VIP classic car service go over my car last week. They are very good, he rated mine a 7/10 with a lot of minor things to fix.

hey, been looking round for a 260 2+2 for 6 months or so but i know relatively little about the ins and outs of zeds. anyone with a bit of knowledge able to let me know if this looks like a decent deal? also, he mentions new wheels, shocks and an exhaust leak. anyone know what kinda cash this car would take to bring up to scratch?

It will be fine as is, however if you are to do full resto well the costs add up

ya. it looked pretty good to me. the only prob is ide buy it as my primary car so i need to get it registered. u have any idea how much new wheels and shocks would add up to? (any other resto i can think about later)

Officially sold today, get picked up by a truck 6pm tonight and freighted to Queensland. I got $11,750 as it stands, no RWC or REG, so by the time i cash in the REG it will be 12K as it stands. The guy plans on restoring it back to stock. VIP are very comprehensive as far as going over the car, all party's are happy.

Thanks to all that have helped me here in particular Dimitri. I hope the track days do go ahead as i would like to see some of you on the track.

Looks Decent. 4.4 V8 means it's the P76 unit.
I wonder how much rust it's hiding... And what the reserve is...

Edit: '73 I wasn't aware RS30's were made in '73...
