To keep the classifieds clean and free for everyone, we request that you follow these rules before listing a car or parts for sale.

1.) The car / part being listed for sale must be related to early Zcars or at the very least early Datsun / Nissan Vehicles

2.) Please use our For Sale template when placing an add. (Second Post Below).

3.) If you sell your car as a result of it being listed here. Consider making a small $10 donation toward the club, the front page has a donation button: http://www.viczcar.com/

4.) If you want to place a non-zcar for sale on this website, you must contact a forum moderator through PM, or you can send the webmaster an email from our contact form: http://www.viczcar.com/Contact-Us/

5.) If you are promoting a commercial product / service or business we ask that you:

• Promote on the site if you can offer a specialised service to Zcar owners.
• Offer a special rate / discount to members on this site.
• Be an active member of the community before promoting your business / product and or service. Members who sign up and use their first post to promote their business will have their post locked /removed.

Warning to anyone posting in classifieds:
It has come to our attention recently that Auszcar.com has attracted certain scammers from around the globe.
As a result of this some members may have been contacted with offers to buy parts or cars from other parts of the world.

Basically the scammer sends you a cheque to cash which is of a fraudulent nature with the intent of gaining you bank
account details. The exact methods and technique they use we are not sure, but as a warning we must insist that
any transactions you do are solely your responsibility and Auszcar.com is not responsible in anyway.

We strongly suggest you use methods that are secure such as PayPal for transferring funds to and from overseas.
Methods such as Western Union Money Transfer offer no protection.

If you suspect any members of fraudulent activity please notify Auszcar.com moderators or admin.

If any offer sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Here are some tips.

1.) Avoid posting your email address in full (many bots / spiders collect them for spam etc..), rather post a contact phone number or request a personal message (PM).
2.) Use secure payment methods that offer buyer / seller protection.
3.) Do not disclose personal details over internet forums.
4.) Notify Auszcar.com moderators or webmaster if you suspect any activity or members might be non-legitimate.
5.) If someone is offering you a part you need but is not specific, ask for more details. If in doubt ask for photo's of said item. It's usually best to meet in person if possible.
6.) If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Keep an open mind and ask other members when in doubt.
7.) Deal with credible members (usually members who have several posts, have sold items to other members) etc..
