Wasin a Mazda dealer yesterday looking at replacing the aging Calais with a CX7 and glanced at the new MX5 which is a car I've always liked. Small, nimble, cheap to run etc. Saw the price and nearly fell off my perch. $47,000 +ORCs!!!!

I thought these things were meant to be a cheap sports car.....  incidently the ORC push it into the Luxury car tax bracket. Maybe Mazda has lost the plot too...
