To Ledge, its always handy to get other people view on things and what they are doing. I'm after something in the mild rebuild area.... I wanna do a 20th overbore and hone and rebalence the crank, put in a mild cam in it. Nothing to extreme. Also that depends on if the block needs it. Ideally I would like to bold on a supercharger and run around 5 - 7 PSi. But thats a another topic.

HI Matt
supercharger would be cool, Definitely need to be careful with
a dyno tuner when boost is involved.
Contact all the people that have been mentioned and have a chat to them
you will know who to choose once you have talked to them.
Definitely don't be afraid to freight your motor to Peter Mc if he is who you
end up going with.
If we didn't do so many engines through Lewis i would use Pmc for my engines
search back through the forum he has built some serious stuff.

All i could recommend is decide if you are going boosted or not cause the cam profile
and porting etc would probably be different for a good NA engine and Bossted engine.

I called Peter today, I'm gonna going to drive up and have a chat to him mid next week. I'll prob swing by Lewis engines, early nexty week and have a chat to them aswell. Its always good to get a second opinion or another set of idea's. I know about the differences in the cam profiles, hence I'm trying to decide what is the best way to go now... I dont want to be change my mind half way, though 1 build and decide on the other.

He must have chafed teM from last time I looked at it then because last time I saw it it had hitachi su carbs and he claimed 260 hp. Weather that was at the wheels or the crank I don't know. I know he gets Chris Milton to do his head work and he is one of the best in SA

I just had Chris Milton redo the head on my 260Z he equalised the valve stems welded up some corrosion holes and fitted the new rocker arms and centered them correctly I should have used him years ago.
