Hi G, yes nice car, It is shown on our home page 2010, Not sure if he sold it or passed in, it was on e-bay and reached bids of $60,100 US.

I'm not sure he'll get 125, you could probably build it yourself for that. You'd have to go through the trouble, but you'd get your own dream car.

Having said that, if it wasn't left hand drive and I wasn't building an historic, I would buy it in a heart beat. This is my opinion of the perfect zed. Well, once I had fitted a cage and a couple of decent seats

Someone go ask Srew Wilkins, what a fully set up, either track/tarmac or dirt Z will cost you, fully reliable, good HP, all the best gear fitted, ready for work.

It will be over $100 k

Look at Siddens's tarmac Z in latest issue of Tarmac mag, brilliant build, well sorted, that would be up thete $$ wise.

To set up a front runner Historic Group S Z race car, at minimum, $60 k, done from scatch.

I can guarantee that car cost him more than 125k. Starting with the right base and doing things smart, rather than throwing money at it and buying other peoples time (which is what he did) you could probably build it in australia for that. Buy time and you'd go WAY over 125 to replicate that car here in aus.

Datman, there is a tarmac 240z running around in perth, David Moir drives it, that allegedly cost the workshop in Melbourne 120k to build. The owner couldn't pay the bill and so the car was sold to Dave, for an undisclosed amount, but speculation puts it at probably closer to 80. I think if this guy got 80, he'd be doing pretty well. Everyone knows you never get money back on cars, that's just how it goes.
