Hello from Switzerland
Mitx:
Hi everyone,
i sometimes come to read your forum as i think it has some very good technical information and I'd like to thanks the members who take the time to educate us on the hints they find about the s30z.
I own a european market 1973 240z . I rebuilt the engine last year and I am currently in the process of upgrading the brakes with vented S12-8 callipers. I am also currently rebuilding the suspension.
Here are pictures taken last summer.

No sooner had I asked for photos I get them. Excellent service Mitz and welcome again.
Very neat looking girl you have there. She does look like she's on stilts compared to most of ours, but she's beautiful with long legs ::)
Mitx:
yeah, it's a bit high currently. I'll soon fit some lowering springs.
For the story:
The car has been firstly registered in January 1974 in France. I bought it in 2008 and imported it into Switzerland and went to the pain of registration/homologation in Switzerland. For this I had to repair perfectly the body so a lot of welding was done.
I am enjoying it very much and am participating to classic car events with my club http://datsun-france.fr such as LeMans classic, Spa Classic...etc. It's really nice to drive in summer on the Alps twisty roads.

Awesome, it would be a dream of mine to drive the Swiss Alps in a classic car like the S30, with any luck I'll do it in a more modern classic in the not too distant future. I like the light covers you have installed and the period wheels are good also in gold.
Did European spec cars come with the wing mirrors or were they fitted later like that?

No wing mirror, only a single mirror on the driver door.
Is this your dream? ;)
