Pair of 2" SUs, Adelaide, SA
« on: January 24, 2012, 09:54:14 AM »
Hi,

Up for sale is a pair of 2" SUs which originally came off a 4.2 Jag. Until this week i have been running these on my 260z for about two years on the normal 260 manifold (which was bored to 2").

They had a rebuild kit run through them about 2 years ago. Loads of torque using them on the L26. They ran well for the weekend driver but for daily use on a L26 probably a little on he rich side, and driving the car a few times a week now so decided to go back to the 1 3/4" hitachis on my standard/stock L26.

Would be really good on a L28 or similar. Can get pics for those interested. To get them linked up - linkage wise you can just use the existing linkages (what i did) on your standard manifold. really easy.

would be good to see these go on another zed, these are great carbies, literally was driving the car yesterday!

$250 ono. willing to ship.

Album of photos of them can be found at above link
cheers,
Peter

This might suit Bozo?
May be a better option on budget rather than rebuilding what you currentley have?

These things suck fuel like a mother ******.

Please excuse my foul language but going to work and back costs me $21.30 a day on average. Yes I fill up everyday.

Can't wait to get 240 hitachis

They are for a 2.8 or better on a worked 2.8;

The howl they emit is nice though. I used to get 320-350km out of a tank around town and i am not scared of the throttle.
