280ZX Exterior Colours

Thanks again, gr8 info, you are rite about my car is a 1978 2 seater hardtop S130001395 fairlady and yep it must be the 650 lime yellow it had been painted silver over maroon which you can see in the attachment but the inside of the car remained unchanged from the original yellow.

I hope one day to return her to absolute original condition, (as the interior was in vgc) i will try and chosse one of the 1979 colours unless you also have a list of the 1978 colours for the 280ZX? I was thinking Black Pearl which was a special colour scheme for some of the last of 280Z's in the USA.  The midnight blue metallic 364 on the 1980 link which luvemfast looks the nicest but i think i will have to try and keep to the colours available at the time of manufacture

Go the yellow, looks similar to the Ford BA colour, Toxic, which I reckon was a great colour unless you had a serious hangover, then you could match it with what you threw up
