Fuel Economy L26
« on: December 17, 2011, 11:10:37 AM »
Hi All,
Filled up the Z this morning after the run last weekend to check economy. The run consisted of some highway driving [100 kph] some uphill [Mt Tamborine] and some hard stuff to keep up with Aubrey. Worked it out and I am getting around 13ltr per 100km. Does this look OK considering the dunny door returns 9 to 10 for normal driving. Also had two shotgun riders with me in the bus. 8)
Cheers,

This topic has been covered before buddy. Not exactly the same as your title but a good guideline.

Thanks Scoota, dumb ass here couldn't find it. So it looks like I am getting pretty close to every one else. Might try smaller jets in the Holly. 8)

Regarding concerns about fuel, I came across this article here: Woman sues Honda in small claims court. From what I read in the article, a Los Angeles woman, disgruntled with fuel mileage claims made by Honda and is taking a novel approach to her legal grievances. She has decided to opt out of a proposed class-action suit and take the car maker to small-claims court. Furthermore, she is pushing other Honda owners to do the same thing. If the strategy is successful and starts a pattern, it could cause major grief for the automaker.

Dimitri! Not a problem, just pop down to the Quik- E - Mart all the time, Apu, the shop owner just loves it, 'cos the noise brings in heaps of customets for hotdogs!

I get better economy then, 1 litre per round trip of approx 2 k, Only 'cos of my interesting driveway, Lurch has seen it!
