PM no subject error deleted text
« on: November 02, 2011, 06:06:01 PM »
Just spent 30 minutes typing up a PM to someone and forgot to put in a subject line, is it not possible to have an error which doesn't delete the work just completed? On other forums this doesn't seem to be an issue?

Sorry for griping, just a little annoying.

Cheers

Aaron

I have done this a few times but never has my work been deleted?

I agree you shouldn't loose your work unless another type of error occurred? What web-browser are you using? I use Chrome and often find it retains entered form data quite well, even when using back and forward buttons in the browser.

Yeah it came up as a forum error, in red text, I use Firefox. I dont remember it happening before, and I quite often forget typing a subject line.

Just spent 30 minutes typing up a PM ...

Aaron, if there was no other activity from an internet point of view on your PC could your ISP have killed the connection??
