Guy Miller and his 3 early 240z's | Saturday, 05 January 2008 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Page 1 of 3 Guy Miller's Lime Green 72 240zIt takes a man of talent to own more than 1 Zcar. Not because as the 240z ages it becomes more difficult to find one, or because the maintenance bills add up, or even that you need somewhere to store all 3. No it takes talent because more often than not we need to convince a significant other it's a good idea to own 1 let alone 3. Guy has obviously overcome this hurdle and owns 3 pristine Zcars. Sure you could own more than 1 but more often than not these days the second or 3rd Zcar is a parts or donor car. Guy has also resisted the urge to significantly alter his Zcar from stock standard. We can't blame him either, when you see his Zcars in all their glory and original paint it's hard to wonder why there arn't more out there like Guy? Guy's 3rd Z to the stable though will have a slight twist in that it will feature a tuned L28 capable of producing around 225 HP. Achieved using a tried and true engine combination as listed on the last page of this article. Thanks Guy for sharing your zcar with us and all the best for the future. All images featured in this article were shot by Guy's son Brandon. You can view more pictures of the Zeds under Brandon's Flickr profile Owners CommentsThis car is basically a stock 240z. I built the engine to stock specs .020 thou overbore. We removed all emission gear and installed SM performance needles for the SU carbs. Z Therapy does all the carbuerettor work. We also installed the Eibach springs and tokico adjustable shocks. My son Brandon painted the engine bay, rear tail light panel and front spoiler.
